Using Committed Inventory Integrity

When you first enter this option, a Select An Option window appears and displays the following options: EXIT, COMMITTED INVENTORY INTEGRITY, and VALIDATE RSVD PURCHASES:

 

Committed Inventory Integrity

1. Select COMMITTED INVENTORY INTEGRITY.

2. A Select An Option window will appear with the following options: EXIT, UNLOTTED INVENTORY, LOTTED INVENTORY.

Scroll to the appropriate inventory type and press Enter to confirm your selection,

3. At the Single Item (Y/N) field, enter Y (Y=yes) to run integrities for one item, enter N (N=no) to run the integrities for more than one item.

4. If the integrities are being run for one item, enter the item group and item code in the Item field.

If integrities are being run for more than one item, enter the item maskCollapsed to run integrities for or enter "//////" to run integrities for all items. See Entering A Mask for more information.

5. If the system finds no integrity issues, the following message will display: "Nothing found for selected criteria!!! Space Bar to Continue." If integrity issues exist, the system will display the items, lots, and transactions that do not have matching lot commitments and transaction commitments. Command options will appear, allowing you to print or choose from a set of other printing options.

The report will list all lots and transaction that commitments that do not match.

If ALL items were selected the user will have the option Synchronize the lot and transaction commitments. The following message will appear: “Synchronize (Fresh or lotted) RSVD Inventory? No /Yes.”

Run the Synchronization option then re-run the committed inventory integrity before sending the reports to the Net•Yield support department.

Validate RSVD Purchases

1. Select VALIDATE RSVD PURCHASES and the system will check commitments against open purchase orders and open sales orders to make sure that they are correct.

2. If the system finds any integrity issues, command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other printing options. If not, the following message will display: "Polio RSVD in balance!!! Space Bar to Continue."
